Irish workplaces have recurring training, inspection and certification duties under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and its Regulations, enforced by the Health and Safety Authority (HSA). The table below summarises the most common duties, their typical frequency and the relevant regulation or standard. Frequencies are best-practice guides, your risk assessment governs.
