The rescue basket is used when an injured person needs to be rescued from rough terrain, a cave, a mountain or a building that is difficult to access. The rescue stretcher is designed to close around the patient, on all sides, to protect him or her from the hard, rocky ground. There are recessed handles on the side walls of the stretcher and notches all round to secure the ropes.
Inside the carrycot, the patient lies on the comfortable support, secured by the 3 safety straps and the footrest to prevent them from sliding out.
