Paediatric First Aid Training Course
This is a practical up-to-date Paediatric First Aid Training Course for parents and carers of babies and young children. The aim of the course is to teach you how to respond confidently in case of an emergency with your family and friends and how to best to avoid accident and emergency admissions. Instructors are all certified by the Occupational First Aid Assessment Agency and registered Occupational First Aid instructor with the Health and Safety Authority and with the National Ambulance Training Board, and have many years experience delivering occupational and paediatric first aid courses throughout Ireland
Full Day Course Programme
- Scene safety and management
- COVID first aid updates
- Patient assessment
- Wounds bleeding and trauma with children including head injuries
- Fractures
- Medical emergencies
- Burns and poisons
- CPR, CHOKING
Two Hour Awareness Session
- CPR/CHOKING
- BASIC PATIENT ASSESSMENT AND TRAUMA
- BASIC MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

All First Aid courses come with a comprehensive manual, which proves an excellent source of reference after completion of course.
Training Methodology:
All Courses are classroom-based; they are highly interactive with role-playing and practical exercises to reinforce understanding and learning.
